Privacy policy
How the anonymous quiz, hosting logs, and email work today. This is not a claim that the site is GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA compliant.
Summary
FindMyPomade is an anonymous hair-product quiz on the web. You do not create an account. You do not log in. The quiz does not ask for your name or email.
Quiz answers stay in your browser while you use the page. Restarting the quiz clears those answers on the device. We do not save results on a FindMyPomade account.
No account is not the same as processing no personal data. The site is hosted by Vercel. Hosting and content-delivery systems can keep request logs. Those logs may include an IP address, the time of the request, and the page requested. We do not use those logs for marketing. We have not published a retention period for them.
Product and quiz pages with a US Amazon listing include a Buy on Amazon control. You may attach a hair photo on the quiz as a visual reference. It stays in your browser for that visit. Restarting the quiz clears it. We do not send it to a FindMyPomade server or a photo-analysis provider. It does not fill in your answers.
This page describes current behavior. It is not a complete privacy-information notice under GDPR, UK GDPR, or California law. We do not claim to be GDPR compliant or CCPA compliant.
Questions: use the contact page. The published address is hello@findmypomade.com.
Who is responsible
CVPK Digital Studio LLC operates FindMyPomade. That company is the organization to contact about this page.
We do not publish a street address, phone number, or registration number on this site.
What happens in the quiz
You answer questions about hair behavior and pick a hairstyle. The site ranks products with a fixed rules engine and catalog data that already live in the web app. Ranking runs in the browser. We do not send those answers to a FindMyPomade account, database, or photo provider. A quiz photo, if you add one, stays in your browser for that visit and is not classified.
If you email us, we will have the content of that message and your email address. We use that only to read and reply.
Hosting and technical data
The public site is hosted by Vercel.
Vercel's Data Processing Addendum for Enterprise and Pro customers describes Vercel as a processor of customer data. That addendum lists IP address and system configuration as examples of customer data. FindMyPomade's production host is on a Pro plan. This page does not invent a retention period, a deletion deadline, or a subprocessor list for those logs. We cannot promise to erase Vercel logs on a timetable we do not control.
We do not run a first-party analytics product, crash reporter, advertising pixel, or consent banner. Those tools are not in the web app.
We do not set our own tracking cookies for the quiz. Hosting, content delivery, or the browser may still use technical storage. This page does not claim that no cookie is ever set.
Fonts load through the app's font setup. This page does not promise that the live site never makes a third-party font request.
Retailer and affiliate relationships
The footer states that as an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. Product and quiz pages with a US Amazon listing include a Buy on Amazon control. A separate affiliate disclosure explains how a commission works.
Amazon can report qualifying clicks on those marked links. We do not say that Amazon, or any other retailer, endorses FindMyPomade.
Requests
Email hello@findmypomade.com about this page, or about data FindMyPomade or its host may hold. We will read every request.
The quiz does not store answers on an account, so we may not have a hair profile to export. Hosting logs are held by Vercel as described above. We will not refuse a request only by saying that an anonymous visitor has no personal data. We also will not promise a result we cannot perform, including deletion of logs we do not control, or a fixed reply time.
The law of your country may give you rights over personal data. A public authority in your country may take privacy complaints. We cannot tell you which office applies to you.
Children
FindMyPomade is a grooming product finder. It is not directed at children.
Later changes
If we add accounts, photo analysis, analytics, or a hosted database, we will change this page before those features are offered as current. Those features are not on the site today.
