Editorial policy
These rules apply to public guides, comparisons, recommendation explanations, and product facts.
- 01
Responsibility
Christian Vismara is responsible for published claims and for the correction process. Guide pages use a last-edit date. That date is not a sign-off that he has read the page. Testing language, outside credentials, awards, testimonials, and professional advice appear only when named evidence supports them.
- 02
Sources and manufacturer claims
Product details need a recorded source. Public guides prefer original documents, qualified professional guidance, and evidence a reader can inspect. A retailer or manufacturer can be the right source for its current specification, but a sales claim stays labeled as a manufacturer claim.
A page should remain useful when every commercial link is removed. Retailer descriptions, ratings, reviews, prices, and availability are not treated as independent FindMyPomade evidence.
- 03
First-hand testing
FindMyPomade uses phrases such as “tested,” “we tried,” or “best” only when real first-hand testing supports them and the page names who tested the product and how. The current catalog uses sourced specifications, not first-hand testing.
- 04
AI assistance
AI assistance may help find research leads, organize notes, or prepare a draft. Christian remains responsible for published claims, examples, sources, and recommendations through the correction process. AI output is not treated as a source.
- 05
Policy for medical claims
Styling guidance is not medical advice. Any medical claim about hair loss, allergy, scalp disease, acne, or treatment needs an appropriate primary or professional source and, where needed, review by a qualified professional. FindMyPomade does not turn a cosmetic quiz answer into a diagnosis.
- 06
Reviewed dates and corrections
A reviewed date changes only after a real factual review or content change. It does not refresh at build time. Material corrections receive a correction date on the affected page. To report an issue, follow the correction process.
